We won Inclusive Research Excellence!
We are pleased to share that the Brain Health in Community (BHIC) project with
Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House has won the CIHR-IMHA Inclusive Research Excellence prize for Patient (Community) Engagement.
We like to thank Professor Karim Khan and esteemed panel for the encouragement, funders SFU Community-Engaged Research Initiative and CMHC-CIHR Healthy Cities Research Initiative Fellowship for Urban Housing and Health, collaborators Gloria Tsui, Eva Aboud, Daisy Au, Cylia Wong, and Magda Kaczmarksa, and the many older adult participants who shared their knowledge, expertise, and time.
We co-created something incredible together. Check out participants' reflections here: https://youtu.be/QJQhPYhCgBE
