Our interdisciplinary team studies community geropsychology from various perspectives, including community psychology, nursing, and rehabilitation sciences. We value systematic experimentation grounded in robust theoretical frameworks for real-world impact. Our collaborations were sparked by a CIHR-IMHA Inclusive Research Excellence Prize for patient/community engagement, and a Catalyst Award from the U.S. National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Healthy Longevity Global Challenge on the cognitive impact of Playful place-based interventions. We are currently recruiting community-engaged Research Assistants.
