OUR TEAM

Our interdisciplinary team studies holistic community health from various perspectives, including community planning, community psychology, nursing, social work and rehabilitation sciences. We value lived experiences and systematic experimentation grounded in robust theoretical frameworks for real-world impact. Our collaborations were sparked by a Michael Smith Health Research BC Reach grant on seniors centres, a CIHR-IMHA Inclusive Research Excellence Prize for patient/community engagement, and a Catalyst Award from the U.S. National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Healthy Longevity Global Challenge on the cognitive impact of playful place-based interventions. We are currently recruiting Research Assistants.
